Graduation
Hi everyone!
Sorry I just thought I’d ask as I’ve got myself confused and I’ve heard different things!😵💫
My final EMA for my modules are due the 1st and 3rd June and then I have written down that the deadline to get my degree result is the 21st July. (I’m not sure where I wrote that down from though!)
As long as that goes well and I pass I believe that graduation booking opens the 28th July.
The Open Uni Degree Ceremony website page states “Due to the administrative processes involved in finalising the completion of a qualification, you need to allow a minimum 6-week period between you accepting your qualification offer and the date of your degree ceremony.”
Does this still mean that I can apply for the autumn booking slots (as it’s at least 6 weeks from July to September for the ceremonies)?
Or
Is it 6 weeks from getting my degree results to booking my slot for my degree ceremony, so I can’t book a ceremony day until around September time (so I’d need to wait for the spring graduations)?
