I had an electrician come to my house to quote for a rewire, empty 1930s house.

Nothing fancy, as it is pretty much just new wiring and an added extractor in the bathroom and external socket. Single pendant in each room, no downlights because I don’t like them :)

The walkaround was on Monday morning and I haven’t heard back from them yet.

Does that mean they basically don’t want to do it?

I did mention at the time that the house will be empty until the end of next month, but rewire is the first thing that needs to happen before decorating.
