Basically, I believe that so far, halfway through the current season (S4), two (I think?) things have been proven.
That the studio or whoever is in charge can give the anime a decent-to-good pace, along with (at least) decent animation. (Did take me a bit before I got used to the art style though.)
As an LN reader, the LNs really can't and shouldn't be adapted 1:1. Based on what I've seen in the reception of the past 2 episodes (6 and 7), many anime-only people can't get through an episode or the show if the anime is paced like the LNs (I also do understand that it could also just be a vocal minority). That said, I'd still love for all, or at least, most of the internal monologues of the characters, especially the main ones, to be adapted more.
Just thought I'd share those thoughts, I'm open to being debated on my opinions though.
