I recently picked up a BLL vintage biker jacket which I posted asking about the fit on here. The consensus was the fit was good but it still felt a little big to me so I've kept hunting.
This Open Road jacket came up and the details suggested it should be pretty much bang on size wise and it was really well priced so I decided to take a punt.
The jacket arrived yesterday and what a tank of a thing it is. When it arrived I couldn't believe how heavy it was so weighed it - 5.8lbs / 2.6kg.
The fit seems to be what I was looking for, it has a zip out removable thinsulate liner and the condition is really good - little bit of scuffing around the cuffs and a small scuff under the arm but otherwise all good.
For anyone looking for a vintage biker jacket you could do worse than check out Open Road.

I've tried a few og107's (Sauce Zhan, RL HBT, Non-Stock MFG ) but none were quite what I was looking for.
The Sauce Zhan were a little too big on the waist (my fault), quite a slim leg and also really thick material (which didn't suit my wants for them to be summer pants).
The RL HBT are really nice material but the fit is on the slimmer end.
The Non-Stock MFG are a nice loose cut but the material is a bit meh.
At the same time I ordered the Non-Stock ones I also ordered these RL ones and they're pretty much exactly what I was looking for - nice loose fit and the material is just the right weight for what I was looking for. Only downside is compared to other RL pants I have in a 32" leg they seem very long.

I've been after a RL denim jacket for a while and particularly like Type 2 denim jackets so when I saw this on Vinted I grabbed it.
From what I can see it's from the 80/90's but wondered is there a way to date it from label codes or anything?
I wanted a new cap and had two criteria I wanted it to meet - I wanted it to be interesting looking material but not too garish and I wanted it to be 100% cotton (that bit proved the trickiest to find).
I saw this Wrangler cap and thought it fitted the brief pretty well.
Went into the office today.

Picked these up from Olderbest. Really liking them but the buckle adjuster/closure on the front must be one of the most irritating things on any item of clothing I own! 😂
