Having just recently posted about the waist split issue on Astrotrain, here are some up close photos.

You can see the pin is tiny and barely slots into the upper torso.

I found every time I turn the waist, the pin just wiggles out.

You can see the pin hole through the abdomen when you lift up the shuttle fin.

It can be pressed back in, but hopefully this demonstrates how it just keeps slipping out and disconnecting.

The pin can't be glued as this is what's used for hip rotation.

I just got SS86 Astrotrain and had only transformed him once. While I didn't love it, I didn't hate it. Went to transform again a few days later, and he just keeps falling in half.

This has turned a mediocre experience into a disappointing one.

The waist is connected with a single pin, that doesn't want to hold and doesn't have much grip.

Be careful out there friends.
