We have one extra day in Cusco before we head to Huaraz to do the Cordillera Huayhuash trek. We are debating between Ausangate 7 Lakes, which seems amazing but may be similar to the views on the trek, or Vinicunca (or maybe Pallay Punchu) rainbow mountain for a different and very unique experience, which seems to be a bit polarizing. Anyone have any recommendations or experiences with either or both?
