I’m losing my mind a bit here. I have an old shower at a trailer - like beach home and I cannot fix it. It’s a 2006 pre fab home and the issue is, this part doesn’t exist. A plumber told me to try part 40069 but that didn’t work. Water comes out the shower head but still comes out the hole in the wall where the handle is. Also my original part has a switch to turn the water on and off and this new one doesn’t it just twists. AI is telling me it may be more than the cartridge which is just lovely. I just don’t know what to do. I’m trying to keep this place running to use it over the summer and prep it to be sold for my sickly mother but I can’t fix this and have no running water in the house and it’s getting beyond frustrating that no one seems to know how to help.
