Walking around my camp, I always find something interesting, but this time it came in triplicate: An owl ☆☆☆, a rare occurrence, and even rarer because I didn't damage the shell; a puma ☆☆☆ in front of Beachers Hope (my usual hunting spot for the feline); and a collector NPC, from whom I stole a jewel and took the opportunity to ride his mount with this unique saddle.
Am I the only one who wishes the collector profession had a saddle like this, to add more immersion to the job?
28th April Daily Walkthrough is posted. Starting in West Elizabeth again today, but in Blackwater this time.
Took a shot at recreating Micah Bell in Online and ended up going way deeper than I anticipated and ended up with Micah Bell 💀
Tried to match his face as closely as possible, then dialed in the outfit with the red shirt, black coat, and Kennedy hat.
Included a few variations + the strawberry jail outfit from the "Blessed are the meek?" mission in Story Mode, this is probably the closest I’ve gotten to a 1:1 character so far.
This month is really great for beginners and even veterans in RDO, both for those who need to develop character XP or for those who just want to earn extra RDO$.
In just under an hour, besides raising my character's base health, I earned over $400!
We still have one more week, hurry and take advantage!!!
My boy Cherry Blossom. He's the first horse I ever bought– I was rank 18 then, and just hit rank 308 yesterday! He's been with me through it all. Finished him today, currently working on my second horse, waiting on the model for my third horse.
While completing some daily challenges, a great opportunity arose: The Legendary Snow Moose!
I didn't have this one in my collection yet; it's going to Gus's tent the next time I'm in Saint Denis.
Third day of character development, and thanks to the dedication, focus, experience already gained with the main character, and especially with the immense help of r/BandoVanDerLucas, I've been achieving great results. If you're a newbie and want to develop your character organically and enjoyably, look for us! Our group is made up of free men and women who aspire to grow mangoes in Tahiti.
At my daughter's request, I created a female character for RDO.
The doll's appearance is based on her.
I will be in charge of leveling up the character, buying and working in the trades, obtaining companion upgrades, buying and maintaining weapons, skill cards, skill pamphlets, and everything else that is functional in the game.
Her part in this "partnership" is to buy and assemble clothing combinations, choose and name the horses (according to her, they will all be girls), and explore the map (in less hostile regions, as she is small and doesn't know how to play).
What do you think? I could post photos and videos of this adventure together here.
There’s something about Big Valley at dawn. After hours of tracking, I finally crossed paths with this magnificent 3-star Moose. For me, this is the most rewarding hunt in the game—their rarity and size make every perfect pelt feel like a true trophy.
I’ve reached Rank 315, and while I’ve hunted everything from the swamps of Lemoyne to the peaks of Ambarino, the Moose remains my absolute favorite. No flashy Legendary hunt compares to the simple satisfaction of a clean, long-range shot on one of these giants.
What about you, fellas? Which animal is your "must-hunt" or the one that gives you that sense of accomplishment every time you load it onto your horse?
I’ve moved away from the "flashy" look and embraced a more historically grounded aesthetic for my gang. After 900+ hours, I wanted my gear to look like high-end tools of the trade rather than museum pieces.
I’ve standardized everything into two main categories:
The Sidearms: My favorites, like the Navy Revolvers, are finished in Blackened Steel with Ivory grips and a subtle Cougar inlay. It’s a clean, menacing, and classic look.
The Long Arms: For my go-to's like the Carcano Rifle and the Lancaster Repeater, I used a mix of Blued and Browned Steel to simulate a realistic, well-maintained patina. All long arms feature Dark Walnut stocks with a high luster and Pebbled Leather wraps.
The goal was consistency. Even the "odd ones out" like the Volcanic and the Sawed-off follow the rifle pattern, as I see them as extensions of my long-arm inventory.
What do you guys think? Is the realistic "worker" look better than the typical gold-and-engravings style?
