Hello,

My baby will be six months old next week. Her schedule is 2/2/2/2.5. We’re starting to get one longer nap of 1.2 hours, while the other two are 30 minutes. Naps are either contact naps or bed sharing. She refuses to sleep in her crib for naps or bedtime. I’ve tried drowsy but awake, deep sleeping, and at the moment, she feels the crib and wakes up. We co-sleep from birth because it used to work well, and she used to sleep for five hours at night. However, now she wakes up every two to one and a half hours. We’ve tried the Ferber method, the chair, and eventually, she cries out, but it didn’t work. She won’t stop crying, and I can’t console her if she’s in the crib. We tried the Ferber method for two days, and she cried for 40 minutes straight before falling asleep in five minutes once I lay down with her in bed. However, if I try to leave, she wakes up. She has a very light sleep, and she’s always trying to roll over, which also wakes her up. My husband tried training her because she seems to have a strong sleep association with me (she’s exclusively breastfed). I don’t know what else to do. She’s not having a good sleep, and neither am I. She has acid reflux, but she’s been on medication for a month, so everything is under control.

She usually wakes up around 6:30 or 7:30 and goes to bed at 8 p.m. Please help me!
