Snatches and overhead squats

Does anyone else have trouble with snatches and overhead squats? I am 5’10 female with long femurs and a long torso. I joined CrossFit about 4 months ago and have always been interested in learning snatches and overhead squats. I’m realizing they are a little more difficult for me than everyone else in the class. I’m curious if anyone else here has encountered the same problems ?

I currently am an operations manager for a company. I’ve worked for the company for 9 years and it has been great being that it is a hybrid position and I just know every end of the company. The schedule is good but I do not receive benefits and upper management has become very difficult and hostile. They are ones that demand respect but they themselves do not know how to give or show respect. The work load has become so excessive that I am even doing work on my off time and when having brought up talk of a potential raise because of the extra work, I end up getting brushed off or laughed at. I have had to endure many conversations with upper management where I feel highly disrespected. I can typically deal with the disrespect especially in the times we are living in when you have a good job you want to hold on to it, but am currently to the point it is making me loose sleep and it is even pouring into my personal life. I have zero time for myself. I’ve never been one to have anxiety or take medication but i fear I have no other options in the near future.

That being said is there anyone in or around the Lafayette area hiring? Again, I have been an operations manager for a company the last 9 years. I have great customer service skills and have developed life long relationships with some clients. I’m great with a computer and have experience in word doc and excel. I manage all financial information/transactions, billing, credentialing, and on boarding for new hires.

I am willing to take a small pay cut just to have some peace in my life. I understand in business the term that is used “it’s just business”. I am very good at putting personal feelings and emotions aside to be focused and get the task done. I very much enjoy being the back bone of the company I am with now having been there for so long but just looking for something a little more manageable that allows me to have a little more personal time for everyday things like grocery shopping/cleaning/etc and physical health.
