5 year old with potty problems

My five year old is starting kindergarten in September and she still can’t consistently listen to her body to go to the bathroom. The biggest problem is getting constipated/holding in poop in unfamiliar spaces, which then ends in dirtying her pants repeatedly throughout the day. We can visibly tell when she needs to go, but if we suggest it to her it starts a screaming meltdown. We also just moved so she isn’t totally comfy in the new space yet. We’ve tried letting her watch her favourite show while on the toilet to get comfy but she just watches and doesn’t go. We give her laxatives when it gets bad (as per her doctor) but even that takes days to work, so it’s days of dirtying 5+ pairs of pants a day (it’s usually just a streak in each). We’ve tried letting her decide for herself when to go, but she just tells us that her body doesn’t tell her to go. We’ve tried giving her choices of when to go instead of us deciding, but she just chooses the later choice and then has a meltdown when it’s time to fulfill her choice. She was potty trained at 3, but this has been a consistent problem since then. Please leave any advice, as we are losing our minds with endless potty meltdowns!

Also to add: she is not diagnosed with adhd yet but in a waitlist for assessment.
