Hi, need some quick advice.

My mom (54) has pulmonary TB (rifa sensitive). She started AKT4 but developed side effects (not eating, bitter taste, mild vomiting). LFT showed SGOT/SGPT ~90, so the doctor stopped TB meds for 5 days and gave liver support meds.

Is this normal? Has anyone gone through this?

Did restarting meds go smoothly after liver recovered?

Also, is it okay to stop TB medicines like this for a few days? Will this increase the risk of drug-resistant TB?

Any tips for managing appetite and nausea would really help.
