▲ 7 r/ostomy

Hi, i am really into drama/theatre and have been living with an ileostomy for just about 3 years. I've noticed there isnt much media representing people with ostomies and i think that is such a shame. Most of the people in my life don't know i have an ostomy which can be really isolating. Its almost as if i wish they could know all the ins and outs of what living with a stoma is like, instead of having to tell them.

So i think i might write a play about my experience/what living with a stoma/ostomy is like.

If you were seeing a play about living with an ostomy bag, what experiences/feelings/thoughts would you like to see?
