Two recent birthday cakes that I recently made with the same flavours but decorated differently :)

Olive oil chiffon, forced rhubarb jam, blood orange curd, mascarpone mousse and vanilla swiss meringue buttercream

Never tried forced rhubarb before but I truly think that it was the star of this cake! It tastes sweeter and brighter than the usual rhubarb that we get in the summertime

My first time making Claire’s carrot cake for a friend’s birthday :) the brown butter cream cheese frosting was phenomenal (as always) and the carrot cake layers weren’t that sweet, so they were well-balanced by the frosting. Also was impressed by how moist the cake stayed despite my baking it 4 days prior to the party
