hi, recently i was prescribed emgality for chronic migraine. the doctor didn’t say anything about a loading does but obviously i did some research online. i finally was able to get it after some pharmacy difficulties, and they gave me 3 doses for 3 months. i injected the first one last night and it was much easier than expected and almost painless for me. i called the doctors office today and the receptionist said to only take 1 dose.

i’m just concerned because everything online says you need a loading dose.

do you think there’s a mistake?
