Passed 2nd time in carlow today - but I wanna talk about costs
I am over the moon I passed. I have a disability and was told I'd never be able to drive so this means a lot to me. However, I wanna talk about costs. 80 quid for the test. 65 for a drivers licence. I have to pay 50 (medical card price) for a new medical form, even though my medical situation hasn't changed between when I got my learners and now. and whatever else it's gonna cost me for the eye sight forms and a new eye test too. probably 30 quid. the price of the process is ridiculous!!! that's €225 quid for a little card. Not including the price for the theory and learners and lessons too. I'm on disability, I can't work so affording this on top of barely being able to maintain a car is insane.
