would anybody know how i get for an hsbc gic gia account the gains after i sold funds in there? do i need to get all transactions i ever did and calculate it myself - for tax return ?

what etf trading platform are you using for stock shares isa? trading121 and investengine get mentioned due to zero fees all time - but i think i might prefer a platform with real people you can call if there is an issue so far i used hsbc gic - but would like to have options to select etfs and maybe shares that are not available there.
