My husky hacks and coughs after drinking water

I have a one and a half year old female husky that I rescued about three weeks ago. She's absolutely amazing and was very well trained before being abandoned or getting lost in a state park. I picked her up from a foster that worked for a rescue organization. She was already house trained, crate trained, knows "sit" and "wait" and also knows her name. She is very well mannered in the house as well - she won't get on furniture or the bed and won't even try to go upstairs unless I take her with me. She completely healthy and is now spayed, chipped, has her shots, and has a great appetite and is a medium energy level. She loves to play hard and get our walks in, but then she naps and sleeps like an angel. One thing I've been noticing though is that probably 8 out of 10 times when she drinks water, she hacks and coughs (and once in a while even dry heaves) right afterwards. It only lasts for a couple seconds, but it looks like the equivalent of when one of us humans has water go down the wrong pipe and we start to cough. It isn't all the time, but it's more often than not. After a vigorous walk, run, or playtime, I wait until she's calmed down a bit before she drinks water since originally I thought she would gag because she was still breathing heavy and drinking too fast. It doesn't seem to matter though. There's times that we're just chilling in the family room and she'll go get a drink and she still hacks a bit. Any thoughts? Otherwise, she's the picture of health. She eats her breakfast and dinner consistently, poops like clockwork twice a day, and has actually adapted to my sleep schedule! We generally call it a night around 9pm and we're up together around 4:30 - 5am.

So I received my first full annuity minus taxes and healthcare on May 1st. I have an updated digital booklet showing the breakdown. However, there is still no documentation or information anywhere regarding backpay for the difference between my full annuity and the five months worth of interim payments I received prior to being finalized. No additional deposit either. Theres no retroactive benefit section in my booklet and no reference or breakdown anywhere at all. It’s like I went from interim to full annuity and that’s it. I thought there was backpay for the difference as well as documentation showing the amounts, taxes withheld and FEHB premiums collected for those months. Did OPM overlook all this??
