I was looking things up when I noticed something was downloading in the top right corner in Safari on my MacBook. I clicked on it and it said “sync-pixel”. I don’t know what the heck that is so I clicked on the little x next to it and stopped the download. When I clicked on the little magnifying glass, it said the file can’t be found in Finder because it wasn’t created.

I went back to the website I was using and it was asking me if I wanted to allow downloads and I said no. For reference, it was the US News & World Report website. When I searched up what that file is, it said it’s related to Google Pixel. I don’t own a Google Pixel nor have I ever owned one. I only own an iPhone.
