I have a 2.2 hp spindle and a kind of rigid CNC even after adjustments and stuff .

I'm running a 3/8 compression bit for the main cutting of 3/4 melamine on particle board, .4 depth of cut at like 75ipm and 18,000 rpm roughing pass with like a .1 in offset and finish pass at the same settings . Final pass is at .8 in

For one the back side of the melamine looks like poo after the cuts and two wondering what feeds and speeds you guys would use in a similar spindle size and material.

The roughing pass does indeed looks rough possibly a testimate to the machines rigidity.

My bit could just be dull but really need to optimize this hoe.
