So I purchased a beautiful lot in a private RV resort - the lot includes a large pole barn, covered deck and shed with laundry and bathroom. Then I got a lightly used fifth wheel and had it delivered, leveled and hooked up to power and sewer and water. Added heated hose, bidet in the shed bath (no #2s in the rig!), mouse trap and ant baits in kitchen and deck. Countertop dishwasher in the shed next to laundry sink. My goal is to extend the life of the fifth wheel as long as possible by protecting the roof and being vigilant about tank maintenance and other repairs. Is there more I should do toward this goal? Maybe add solar?

I have two big labs and would like to bring them along when I fly south next winter so looking for a park where I can rent a park model and they can maybe have a little yard. Am I dreaming? All feedback very appreciated!
