I’m working on PointHeure, a work hours tracker (1‑tap clock in, weekly view, optional geolocation nudges).

I built a full AI pipeline to generate promo content:

  • Pixar‑style concept images with the real iOS UI
  • UGC‑style voiceovers with strong hooks (“Stop guessing your work hours”, “Invisible overtime is still overtime”, etc.)
  • Short TikTok/IG Reels cuts

Result so far:

  • ~20 videos
  • ~7k views total
  • low click‑through and installs

My guess is that:

  • The message is too abstract (aesthetic > pain point).
  • I don’t make the “don’t count hours but I still want the truth” story explicit enough".

If you have time to look at the video example, I’d love feedback on:

  • Is the “why” clear?
  • Would you tweak the angle (problem, target persona) more than the visuals?
  • Any examples of short videos that actually moved the needle for your productivity app?

Not looking for hype, just honest critique from people who’ve tried to market similar tools.

Most habit trackers live entirely on your phone.

My problem: I never opened them.

So I built something around a different assumption: your habits live in the real world, not in an app.

How it works:

- I stick NFC tags or QR codes on objects: water bottle, coffee machine, gym bag, pill box…

- When I actually do the habit, I tap or scan the object, not the app.

- The app just logs it instantly – no scrolling, no searching, no “I’ll log it tonight and forget”.

What surprised me the most:

- I stopped “batch logging” at the end of the day.

- My consistency went up because the tracking lives where the action happens.

- QR codes made it super cheap to scale (you can literally print a full sheet and tag your whole apartment).

I’m curious how this compares to what you’re using:

– Would you use NFC / QR for habit tracking or is that too much setup?

– What objects in your life would make sense as habit triggers?

(For context: I’m an indie dev, the app is called TagTrack on iOS. Happy to share Store link if that’s allowed here, otherwise I’ll keep it to DMs.)
