I’m not sure if this is possible or not, but I’ve been wanting to create a porcelain doll of one of Napoleon’s Marshals. Specifically, Louis-Nicolas Davout! I have a lay-out (design) for him, but I just don’t know what materials to use (as in types of clay, or something else). I’m really hoping someone could give advice on how to making this idea real, even small tips are appreciated. Thank you!
I'm a big Napoleonic wars noob, and I've been wanting to learn more about it since my interest on it is going through the roof! Ive been wanting to go see the reenactment and interact with people who are there (so I can learn more and people's opinions about certain battles).. but I have a problem. I don't have any normal clothing and all I wear is Japanese fashion. The most tamest style I wear is Jirai kei(literally considered my normal/lazy outfit when I'm not out wearing EGL, which stands for elegant gothic lolita.). I really don't want to come off as a very big tourist/someone who basically has no interest in the Napoleonic wars and is just there to be there. I swear I won't wear any colors that will really stick out! I'm planning on wearing a casual black and white coord(outfit/coordinate). The reason why I'm saying this is because I'm scared of looking like some weirdo who looks fresh out of a anime convention(I personally hate anime), and looking unapproachable. Any advice? Or just how to make friends there? Thanks for anyone who is willing to help for my first time.
