Why is My Hyundai app and bluelink bad

I opened the app this morning to turn on the heating in my Hi5 and the app had changed, I thought maybe an update during the night, it had a few nice buttons, max cold and max heat which I thought was perfect, as usual while trying to send the heat command I am messages back saying connection issues and eventually they go through, the car hasn't moved since last night and I was getting notifications about the doors being unlocked within minutes of me walking away from the car so it can't be a network problem. When I refreshed in app everything went back to the original screen with 'Set to Highest' and 'Smart Climate', why would it just change.

Another today issue, I plugged into a level 2 charger and after a while it must have reached the desired 80% charge and I received a notification saying it was completed, I go into the app and it's still showing 34% and 3hrs20 to complete, if I refresh the page it shows 80% for a split second then changes back to 34%, the range though has changed to what I would expect from 80%.

Why is it so hard to for them to have a consistent app or is it just me being picky.
