TLDR: Do I need to close off nidacore edges that will never be exposed? How do you like to do that?
Im building up a rear casting platform. The photo shows the walls that will support the deck, and separate my hatches. These walls will be tabbed into the deck below and gunnels. Then the casting deck will be tabbed into the gunnels and these walls. When I put the top deck on I will 100% be closing off the edges since those will be exposed and eventually painted.
However, theses walls will be covered by more nidacore decking above, the gunnels, and the deck below. So do I need/want to close these off prior to glassing in? If so, how would you do that? Fairing?
