How much does this reporting correspond with your personal experience? How much does Gen Z differ from the generations before them? (To the extent that you can even segment people into age brackets) I don't think annecdotes trump actual general trends, but I'm always sceptical that the media takes small shifts in behavior and paints them as seismic shifts between generations, just so they can have some narrative they can report on.
