This notice is to inform you that a settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit against Defendant European Wax Center (“Defendant”). The material allegations of the complaint relate to Defendant’s alleged disclosure of information without consent to third parties via pixels, cookies, code, and/or tracking analytics tools on the Defendant’s website allegedly without permission. Defendant denies that it violated any law but has agreed to the settlement to avoid the cost, disruption to its business operations, and uncertainly associated with defending the lawsuit.

Am I a Settlement Class Member? Our records indicate you may be a Settlement Class Member. Class Members are U.S. residents who, from June 30, 2023 through April 2, 2026, visited www.waxcenter.com, including, but not limited to, those who booked an appointment on www.waxcenter.com.
What can I get? If approved by the Court, Defendant will establish a Settlement Fund of up to $5,000,000 to pay all valid claims submitted by the Settlement Class, together with Notice and Settlement Administration Expenses, the fee award for attorneys’ fees, costs, and expenses for Class Counsel, and a Service Award to the Class Representatives. Under the terms of the settlement, you are entitled to file a claim for an award of up to $10.00.

How do I get a payment? You must submit a timely and complete Claim Form no later than June 30, 2026. You can file a claim by visiting the Settlement Website at www.EWCDigitalSettlement.com. You may elect to receive an Electronic Payment. Cash Payments will come by check.

What are my other options? You may exclude yourself from the Settlement Class by sending a letter to the Settlement Administrator no later than June 30, 2026. If you exclude yourself, you cannot get a Cash Payment, but you keep any rights you may have to sue the Defendant over the legal issues in the lawsuit. You and/or your lawyer have the right to appear before the Court and/or object to the proposed settlement. Your written objection must be filed no later than June 30, 2026. Specific instructions about how to object to, or exclude yourself from, the Settlement are available at www.EWCDigitalSettlement.com. If you file a claim or do nothing, and the Court approves the settlement, you will be bound by all of the Court’s orders and judgments.
