Jan 2021- Claim Filed (denied)
August 2021- Appeal filed
October 2024- Hearing with veterans law judge
March 2026- Case assigned to a veterans law judge
April 2026- Appeal granted
May 2026- 9 days after my appeal was granted, my rating appeared on the VA website. 4 days later full backpay was deposited into my account.

I am so relieved that it’s over. Now I can breathe. I hired a lawyer and it was worth it for me. No way I would’ve been able to get this rating on my own (I tried about 15 years ago on my own).
