I live in a pretty small space so the litter box smell is something I notice quickly if I fall behind even a little. Does the automatic ones really help with that or if it’s still basically the same situation?

Like I want something where I don’t walk into the room and immediately think about litter. If you’ve used one in a small space, did it make a noticeable difference or not really?
