AP3 set to single press and yet it requires a double press to order for it to work
My telephone is on iOS 18.7, so I haven’t gotten any updates to my AirPod Pro 3. I recently had some technical difficulties with my AirPods, and Apple insisted that I update the firmware before they do anything else. In the end, it was a hardware related problem that a firmware upgrade had no chance of fixing. They replaced the faulty, right AirPod.
All that to say ever since I got the replacement Earpod and repaired everything, now with the latest firmware, I have to double press the AirPod to hang up. A single press used to hang up, but now only mute or unmute a call. I’ve looked at the Bluetooth settings for the AirPods and it is set to single press for both answer. Call and end call.
How do I get it to actually end the call on a single person not a double press?
