Texas Motorcycle License Question

Hello! New to reddit so anything helps :))

Working on getting my M endorsement in the state of Texas, one of the requirements is a MSC like every other state. One thing in Texas is that if you have an unrestricted A,B or C license and you’ve successfully done the MSC then the DMV skills test is waived.

I have an A restriction on my license (corrective lenses), would that make me ineligible for the waived skills test? Or is something like a corrective lenses restriction so common that it doesn’t matter to the DMV?

Framework 13, as a Full time College Student

Heres my framework laptop, it’s a 7640U with a single 16gb stick of ram (waiting for prices to go down to upgrade to 32gb later)

As the title states I’m a full time college student and Flight Instructor, im also a tech nerd and love tinkering and learning new things.

I have a huge amount of bias with this post in that it scratches the itch for me of something that’ll hopefully last a long time for my future teaching endeavors. Along with the fun experience of building your own computer.

If anyone in college is wanting to find a budget laptop that will work for assignments and occasional light gaming. In terms of price upfront its definitely high. But if you can apply a mindset of ‘spending more now on something of high quality’, because thats exactly what it is. Its a great product that feels good and works great. For me justifying that higher cost upfront feels a bit easier knowing itll last a long time.

If You’re a college student who is saving I recommend getting into linux (free) or getting a windows license on eBay, I personally got a windows 10 pro license since I’ve had trouble adjusting to windows 11.

I love this laptop, hopefully framework could get school discounts or maybe even get more schools to outright buy their laptops instead of chromebooks. The more business they get the better!

Any other college students that daily drive a framework? Would love to see what y’all do. :))

My 1994 XR250L

It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s my first bike I’ve ridden in 10 years and I absolutely love it!

If anyone else has one of these 90’s XR’s what upgrades have you done or any tips on ownership?

Thanks!
