Having had a good search for the symptoms, nothing on youtube or the web seems to fit. So, 3 week old Shark, hoovering a rug, made a clunking noise, then both headlights went out, one side started flashing together with the "Detect" light, and the rollers and engine started to pulse - see videos.

No obsctructions, nothing obvious. Unplugged and left in case it needed to cool down. Still the same problem, I had been using the vacuum for about 10 minutes when it occurred.
