I recently had a scare of high potassium in bloodwork cause the blood hemolyzed. I had to rush to hospital to be safe (the yellow and green results). That was one month ago. I recently found out my test levels were very low and I decided to opt in for TRT until my nephrologist told me not to. I obviously now will not be doing that. However I did get bloodwork from the company. How is it possible that my egfr has dropped down to 69 in one month? I’m not really to sure how to take this. Can someone explain to me what can possibly be the cause here? Luckily I have an ultrasound of my kidneys this Friday.
