Closet cheating and how to approach it when it’s a friend
It has become apparent to me recently how rampant closet cheating is in this game. I am curious to know how those of you who were forced to deal with a friend lying to you about their gameplay handled the ordeal.
My friend who recently bought cheats to “mess around with on an alt” suddenly went from 12k to 20k premier within a week or two, has better stats in 20k lobbies than he did previously. His leetify aim rating increased from 55 to 86, crosshair placement went from 11.5 to 7.5 degrees. He also has multiple suspicious moments in his demos. But he swears he has not cheated on him main account at all.
Those of you who have had a similar situation, where a friend is clearly cheating and lying to you, how did you handle it? Any advice? If your friend was part of a larger group, would you double down to prove their cheating to the others? Would you ignore it and let it go? Or would you take a different approach?
