As someone who has considered to leave Islam in the past, what is your opinion of your past fellow Muslims in general? I always found them to be arrogant, rude and unfriendly.

As a British Pakistani Muslim who has considered to leave Islam in the past, I have always found the Muslim community here in the UK, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Indians, Arabs, Kurds, Turks, Somalians and Sudanese people that I grew up with in particular to have mostly been horrible arrogant bullies who were very unfriendly, impolite and obsessed with social status, whereas the white middle class English people I grew up with, and some of the working class ones too, were quite polite and inviting in comparison (though some of the working class whites were horribly racist).

I have also found many of the Muslim community in the UK to have been horribly violent towards each other as well and also very racist towards whites and derogratory towards Christians and other religions. Did anyone else here experience this too and eventually leave Islam due to the negative way that your local Muslim community of people use to behave around you?

And when I compare the religion of Islam to say, Christianity, Christianity seems so forgiving and kind, whereas Islam seems so strict and judgemental.
