Here’s a slightly streamlined English version of your text:

I’m looking for a monitor that suits my needs: I do video and photo editing (mostly for web use) and some gaming (AAA titles like Resident Evil, The Last of Us, The Witcher, and occasionally LoL). My budget is €400–550.

From what I’ve learned, monitors designed for professional work aren’t great for gaming, while gaming monitors can still work well for photo and video editing—as long as you’re not a professional colorist needing extreme accuracy, which isn’t my case.

I’d like to avoid OLED due to cost and long-term panel degradation. IPS seems like the only real option, but I’m concerned about poor black levels (they tend to look gray). While researching, I found two possible alternatives:

  • IPS Black technology (used by Dell and LG—also HP, but I’ve seen poor reviews). I’ve looked at the Dell U2724D and the LG UltraGear 27G810A. The Dell is interesting, but despite 120Hz, it has a 5ms response time, and I’m not sure how good that is for gaming. The LG looks great on paper, but I’ve seen reviews calling it one of the worst monitors of the year.
  • The other, more interesting option might be Mini LED IPS, which should offer OLED-like blacks without burn-in risk. Within my budget, I found the MSI MPG 274URDFW E16M and the AOC U27G4XM. The MSI seems better overall, but the AOC is more budget-friendly and not that far behind.

Any advice?
