This post is a reflection on Tim Burchett’s X post from yesterday:

“Remember the Feds told us these files didn’t exist.”

This should be our community’s mantra. Moving forward, we should never be embarrassed to say “I’ve always been interested in UFOs.”

Too often, people preface their comments about the UFO topic by mentioning their typically blasé attitude or even hostility toward it.

As if it’s a badge of honor. This week’s release shows quite the opposite.

So before you utter such a prefatory apology, ask yourself, have I *really* not been interested in UFOs my whole life?! Or have I just been too afraid to talk about it until now?

And if you’re a lifelonger, share that fact with pride!

Every once in a while, I’ll get a split second flashback to what feels like a world I once experienced in a dream, where everything was perfect. Like a dream, the memory slips away quickly and I’m left with a poignant yearning for that place.
