So frustrating!!

I feel I’m a decent player but joined late and have tried SBCs, EVOs and constant grinding but haven’t been able to get any real top players and every team I play has a team consisting of all 93-95 rated players and I keep getting my ass kicked cuz my players just cant keep up. Getting a shot off is almost impossible as 9/10 get blocked and the counters are killing me. How can I improve this team and get better players?
