Hey all, I purchased my home at the beginning of the year in Toronto Canada. The home was built in the 80's. This brown wire has always look concerning to me and my home inspector said its not an issue. I've never seen this type of wiring before. The casing is all cracked and charred or tar like substance coming out of it. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks
