I might've seen Storm Shadow pop up in the cartoon but he made no impact on me cause I was just too young (his first figure came out the year I was born), but when I was 8 the Ninja Force figure came out and to me he was just the coolest Joe ever, and still is, and I still think that figure's design is the best Storm Shadow ever looked (even if to my elderly eyes, the flaws in his proportions and articulation are more apparent).
So I'm showing off some cool Ninja Force Storm Shadow stuff I've had going down over the years.
First up is a nice piece of fanart I commissionned a friend to draw for me some 13 years ago. Gave them full creative freedom to just "do a cool ninja art with this guy" and they delivered.
I also loved Lee Byung-Hun as Storm Shadow in the first two live-action films so getting the incredibly rare shirtless figure had always been a goal of mine, and I finally managed to score one this year. Since the old Hall Of Fame Storm Shadow figure wore the Ninja Force outfit, I found a listing for just said outfit sans figure or accessories, and the Hall of Fame Martial Arts Training set, the Hall of Fame Red Ninja gear set and one of the many Action Man ninja gear sets contributed to giving him accessories to match the ones included and sculpted on the original figure (the dual-sickle-blade is a stand-in for the kama, and the commando mask remains until I can find a ninja mask or balaclava I know for sure will fit over the head).
