So I'm stuck early plat because I just can't figure out how to deal with this.

The parry timing on side special seems to be known by everyone at this point, but if I try to rush in I get punished off of being shielded on any move I can think of, and if a character has bigger disjoints than me I can't go for grab as a switch up reliably.

I guess as a second question, how do I guard against slade? I don't know if I'm getting the timing wrong but he seems immune to me hitting dair when using up special, so I have to risk going deeper off stage to attempt something, usually to be hit by a projectile.

I'm currently trying to get better at ledge hogging, but the timing seems a bit weird at the moment.
