White Wizard help

Bought him from Home Depot about 4 months ago. We had a rocky period in the first month that led to browning of some of his white spots (pictured). I've sinced changed my ways and he's doing MUCH better!

My question is what do I do about the brown parts? are they hurting the plant? Do I prune the leaves or leave them be?

Im about to repot him since I've noticed the roots growing out of the bottom... I want to give him the best chance possible to thrive after my previous mishaps...
