Picked up this beauty about a week ago after my beloved CB500X was written off by a van driver who decided to reverse into me in stationary traffic. I’ll always have a soft spot for the CB, I’d decided it was my forever bike and would always have a place in the garage - fate thought otherwise. I was initially gonna get the NX500 as a replacement, but due to the imminent model refresh, there were none available. Needed to be back on two wheels asap due to the annual motorcycle camping trip looming around the corner and decided I’d have a little sit on the NC to see how the glove fit. I was impressed immediately with the amount of bike for the price. Power seems a little smoother than the CB and it’s nice to have a little more juice for the motorway. Now I just need to start adding the accessories to make the bike mine. Here’s hoping to the NC becoming my new forever machine and for van drivers to check their blind spots! Safe riding everyone!
