Corner house, seeking permission for vehicle crossing onto driveway.
Hi all, currently seeking advice from local authority but thought I would see if anyone on here has been in similar position.
Lived on a Close for 20+ years, we have bay parking - some days are better than others for parking.
My father has a medical condition which is by-day getting worse and its becoming difficult for him to navigate from the parking bays to our house when we take him out. We have a big front garden and between my garden and the road there is a path way with a big of grass.
My neighbours are all happy for me to have this paved and turned into a way for a car to drive onto my property.
Is there any basis in which the Highways team may deny this?
My driveway would be big (could fit easily like 4 cars) but the vehicle cross point is about 2.4m I would say... Thank you in advance!
