My case was recently upgraded to premium processing, and the clock started on March 31, 2026. I wanted to check — how long are people currently seeing for approvals under premium processing ? California. I know the official timeline is 15 business days, but I’d really appreciate hearing recent experiences.

Also, I could use some guidance on my situation:

- I’m currently working for a nonprofit organization

- My current work authorization expires on April 30, 2026

If my case isn’t approved before that date, what are my options to continue working or maintain status? Has anyone been in a similar situation and can share what they did?
