The filler characters (no offence to the actors who played these characters , every actor in this show is really talented which is really why it pains so much to see the roles being fulfilled by them turn meaningless)

Preetham ; Probably THE MOST filler character of all.....all his scenes felt like i was watching some other show and throughout his 51 episode arc i was wondering maybe his character was some kind of a favour to the actor to keep him employed? Like it was so random. Don't get me wrong i would have enjoyed his arc had he been a part of the show since season 1 who felt undermined in Chief doc Radhi's leadership and did questionable stuff in season 2 to prove to himself and others that he was a better chief...that would have been amazing but no he was brought out of nowhere and litterally made me question wether his arc is worth sitting through the grand scheme of things going on.....he much like Madan tried to use the mishappenings in the hospital to his advantage but it kind of backfired.....but my dude was able to find out Manasa is MNM's daughter within a day and knew that Radhi was Reena's mom but what did he do with that info? Nothing. A BIG NOTHING!!! Like seriously atleast the other filler characters contributed something to the main plot but bro did nothing with this info. He was there in the hospital for a month and knew that radhi is Reena's mom and yet when he was busy trying to recruit nursing staff , senior docs he didn't think of going to Vijay once and telling that reena and radhi are related. That could have been his biggest leverage like the concept of chekkov's gun does not stand a chance with his character

Kiran and nilofer ; Honestly there is no use dedicating a separate section for these two cause they did not have individual storylines at all....they barely had any individuality.

Kiran i had zero hopes since his first scene ; ge was always supposed to be the flirt but i think I'm in the minority here but i liked his scenes with Reena and him trying to desperately woo her and loved it even more when she finally rejected him (rocky in that scene said her tone was harsh but not really , rven in that situation reena sounded calm and polite , the other language dubs made her sound more harsh) even his toxic family arc which was supposed to garner sympathy for him fell flat (i like the actor who plays his dad , he played Karna in suntv mahabarat) his live in disaster arc was another eyesore admist the high tension main arcs which made me want to skip.....but the thing is Kiran went the same route as Rocky did in season 1 , even Rocky asked Reena out but they stayed friends even after the rejection but kiran barely interacted with reena after the rejection (which is good btw I'm happy reena got out of the triangle she dodged a freaking bullet in the name of a toxic family) i wondered why reena continued to be friends with rocky but not with kiran before it struck me that Rocky had actual legitimate conversations with reena during the times when he wasn't asking her out wheras everything out of kiran's mouth was a flirty comment , dude thought that made him look cool but nope , he would have atleast been in the friendzone if he had a normal convo with Reena. I really didn't care for his macho hooliganism act eiher it was annoying also he slapped that guy whose motorcycle reena knocked over at the police station for no fault of the other guy (he did cuss at them but it was Reena's fault and he got slapped instead.....also the writers pride themselves for making this a pg 13 show so why didn't they beep out that curse word?) They tried making Kiran's dad into Nassar of Em Magan but honestly there was a lack of substance and his dad just ended up being a drunk jetk

Coming to Nilofer's character I really had some hopes on her character being like the naive and innocent version of Teju with all the info , i really wanted to know from where she got all the previous batch intern gossip from , it gave the vibe of her being connected to some hospital bigshot but all that got flushed down the drain the moment she laid her eyes on Kiran then her entire character became about either helping kiran taking reena out on a date or being hopelessly in love with him but even Nilofer contributed to the main plot in the surgical slip up case which led to Vijay and Reena's conflict. If anouone could have revealed the truth about Radhi Reena it's Nilofer.....like you have a human personification of a walkie talkie and you expect me to believe that she didn't slip up anything? Even plot convienince should be belivable but this is something else. Nothing more to add about her. Lets not forget how Kiran looks like Nilofer's dead fisncee and how he lashed out at her for wanting him and ruining things between him and reena so that she can have a chance with him and she slaps kiran hearing that and tells him about the fiancee which makes kiran feel guilty and "fall in love" with her this is not love this is trauma bond

Kamal ; Another character whom i thought had some potential they kind of reused a season 1 plot point for Kamal , he felt alienated due to his villiage hillbilly accent and behaviour the same way rocky felt alienated despite being in team during the intern competition , rocky felt alienated due to Ravi and Teju cutting him out of every diagnosis they made , they kind of did it with kamal and i was waiting for the other shoe to drop where his insecurities led to his character doing something questionable but the only questionable things he did were instigating fights between Rocky and Charu (ig even if he didn't intend it he subconsciously got his revenge for the way rocky treated him ) and fights between kiran and nilofer and him helping Abhinaya to masqureade as Amaya in the hospital (the only time his character directly contributed to the main plot) then his obsession with amaya began.....I wonder who thought this would be a good idea to pair up the human version of an energitic golden retriever with a timid amaya.....them interacting as friends was good but once the subtext shifted it became cringey and it wasn't even due to the age factor , it simply felt like someone else was writing those scenes cause those scenes felt half hearted and lacked any conviction.....another disappointment. Abdool in an interveiw mentioned that Kamal has a backstory and it might get revealed in season 3 but he had an instagram Q&A a few weeks ago and mentioned that he might not be a part of season3 due to his other projects :( I'm sad cause i liked his acting but doesn't matter i can watch his other shows

Amaya and Abinaya ; man the writers didn't put much thought in their backstories did thay? They just copy pasted Kiran's household with Abhi and Amaya ; grumbly mom , alcoholic dad yadda yadda yadda to the point that even the houses looked the same

Atleast they sereved some purpose with the aal maaratam subplot where Abhinaya masqureads as Amaya cause amaya is hurt and cant work and abhi has to go as a nurse in her place cause Amaya is the only breadwinner of the house....this might be an unpopular opinion but Abhinaya is a much better human being than Amaya. Sure Abhi is loud but her moral compass is more sharper than Amaya's.....she being a nurse asked abhinaya to pretend to be her as if it's a tech job and Abhi didn't have to handle human lives like hellloo???? Error 404 common sense not found. Also the way she toyed with Kamal's emotions by giving mixed signals saying she liked him but didn't want to move further because of financial responsibilities as if Kamal is there for her money (then break up with the guy don't pine for him when he's moving on and bring him back to the equation which she did) i don't think even Amaya would be a part of season 3 since Kamal won't be there and 99% of Amaya's arcs were with Kamal they would just have Abhi doing some tech job in the hospital to retain Roshni in the show.....the peak of all cringe scenes in their arc was when Abhinaya gives an idea to woo amaya by overpowering her since she likes men who overpower her......OMG I WANTED TO BLEACH MY EYES DURING THAT DISCO LIGHTS SCENE WTH!!!! Preetham was so right on wanting to fire and jail Amaya she deserves it!

Kishore ; the teju before Teju.....i feel like he would have been the first person for vijay to ask what was the reason for Radhi and Reena's rift and he would've happily told him after getting paid for info maybe that's why he wasn't a part of season 2 , that and actor schedules , need to thank his character for getting reena to Ganesh uncle's house

Now "main" chatacters who were never main characters to begin with and / or became fillers along the way

Ravi ; Was he really Arjun's best friend? Cause everytime he was "consoling" Arjun it looked like he was taunting him or mocking him especially scenes after season 1 truth bomb where he says " is Reena Radhi's daughter? Maybe Reena left because you revealed the truth about her?" Like is this even consoling? He was so nonchalant about the things happeneing around him it didn't look like he cared for Arjun at all and felt like he was just his mutual friend because of Anita. Wished Ravi and Anita had gotten together. I hate friends to lovers trope but the "best friends" anita and ravi barely acted as friends and bickered like a couple. Plus it would have been a nice parallel with Reena and Rocky. You have a best friend duo who become a couple (Anita and Ravi) and you have another duo who turn best friends after one of them politely turns down the other (Rocky and Reena) honesty his marriage with Bharati was the stupidest plot point ever not to mention it was litteral incest of cross cousin marriage to save her from a marriage with an older guy due to some debt her parents owed him ewwww. Yk but Madan was in the right to fire Ravi for the Kanagaraj case , it was so obvious that Kanagaraj being an ex millitary officer was having PTSD based on the interactions how could Ravi not notice this and call for a psychiatric consult? He should not have been given a free pass for the Kanagaraj suicide case that easily imo. But i missed him in season 2 cause he kept anita and guna sane in season 1. Also loved the ep where reena saved his life (ep 12) and seeing Guru and Deepa's previous works it felt meta.

Barathi ; I seriously hate this character. She litterally gaslighted Ravi to fall.for her , she married him to get saved but hiding the fact she likes him.and when she realises anita likes ravi she went to her and ruined any chances of a relationship by saying she loves ravi and her whole gaslight-y behaviour of her warm and cold attitude towards ravi to get his attention was despicable i was waiting for ravi to escape this relationship but noo logic be dammed she does the bare minimum thing of saving him from getting jailed and his nonexistent feelings crop up for her urgh.....give me a negative character like MNM children with proper redemption and i would actually like and empathise with them than these wolves in sheep skin characters like Barathi , Amaya and Vijay (yes he falls in that category as well)

Anita ; I really liked her chirpy personality in season 1 hated how they ruined her in season 2. I liked her bond with Arjun and how she saved him from Manasa's therapy sessions. But it felt like writers didn't know what to do with her character and they paired her up with guna for no reason and wrecked her arc. I thought they would do some hardcore Reena vs Anita arc when she messed up Reena's reports on Meena's case but that went nowhere , at this point i won't mind even if her character is present in s3 or not

Guna ; bro never gave main character vibes , he was the flirt in season 1 and jerk bf in s2 and that's all.....atleast in s1 he had that arc with naveen and convos with rocky to reinforce the fact that he is part of the main character group but that was neutered in season 2 where he was just being the jerk for one reason or other , i actually liked Jennifer's arc ( his mom) but had to skip a few of those scenes as well cause he was brooding in most of those scenes or running away from her in season 1

Madan ; Strongest villian of the show who was a victim of his own circumstances, he wanted to gain the hospital and liquidate it to pay off his debts , didn't consider radhi would still vote for arjun after him revealing radhi is Reena's mom and he fell into the deepest of black holes , wish he got more importance in s2 as well., now here's a villian with a redemption arc and i liked it

Manasa ; look Ashwathy is a great actress but the character's entry made the show a soap opera , she came as a psychologist to manipulate the staff to gain the hospital then got into the side quest of wanting arjun and spiking Reena's drink to get her fired (that was the moment when the webseries completely turned into a tv serial and there is no looking back) i was actually happy that we got a career oriented female villian before they turned her into a possessive lover....bruh , but it does not surprise me cause Deepak revealed in an interveiw that Manasa's character was not planned but he found the idea interesting when some fan DM'ed him saying the M and N of MNM stood for Madan and Naveen but to whom does the other M stand for (facepalm) now she's going to be the villian of S3 goddd.....i skipped most of her therapy scenes cause it was repetitive and more of "reena your trigger arjun" chants I'm not looking forward for her arcs in seasonn3

Naveen ; The silent game changer of season 1 in Madan's entry episode there was a 4 second shot of Naveen frowning at him which i found to be weird (ep 19 or 20) but then the ultimate reveal of him being Madan's bro was shocking in ep 80

Contrary to popular opinion his "relationship" with Teju feels super problematic where she insults him every time and he gives the puppy dog eyes , reverse the genders and it's not funny anymore

He took the fall for the log deletion due to overdose but the log deletion was done by teju and she took the fall for him (unknowingly due to guna revealing it) for the internal leak issue which was due to naveen cause he was helping his bro and sister in law and child who would become homeless if he doesn't pay off the debts

I loved that he confessed that manasa spiked Reena's drink but he should have had some survival instincts , he should have just said Manasa was MNM's daughter without giving away his identity to save his job but no he confessed to everything and has a 3 month notice period which is nothing now cause Manasa would become CEO and would easily be back

Teju ; I just don't get her motivations at all , she claimed that she was never a spy and leaked internal info but we didn't forget her asking Madan to use the Kanagaraj suicide case to her favour. I respect her competitive spirit but what was she going to do gaining control of RK hospital? She was and is still an intern and she would have had to listen to Radhi maam who is the chief doc even if she had gotten control.of the hospital. Thank god RK warned her when she tried to pit him and Radhi. And her jealousy towards Reena even before getting to know that she was Chief's daughter was too much I wonder why these tv shows always pit two women against each other with diametrically opposed veiws instead of showing a healthy friendship.....

The shoehorning in ep 93 or 94 of season 2 that Reena was the reason Teju agreed to come back but she was cold towards her cause she felt that others would pull reena into hospital politics for being too friendly with a someone who allegedly leaked internal info to destablilize the hospital was too far fetched and felt like a last min addition. Truth was they never got along well even with teju caring a lot for reena

I enjoyed her role in gettinf TR's phone no and the ep where she tries to get Radhi and Dev's backstory her lines were just fire 🤣

Sadly even she became a filler by season 2 where she did nothing and was just showing off to manasa that she can do a lot but chose to do nothing cause exposing manasa would mean naveen gets caught in it as well , even her scenes with naveen got repetitive where she enters he says something she gives a sarcastic remark and leaves after insulting naveen which was played for laughs . I just started skipping their scenes after a while now idk.if she will be a part of season 3. I'm just glad that when naveen confessed to the truth she didn't start a new fight about how he confessed because reena was in trouble but did nothing when she got actually fired for his mistakes and was brougnt back....i liked the proposal and the briyani scene. Honestly guna didn't deserve the senior resident promotion , reena and teju did and guna was just given the promotion cause teju got unfairly fired due to him assuming that teju was the reason of the internal leak otherwise guna was in the bottom of the scoreboard with rocky ffs.

Yogalakshmi is really talented and she is getting new roles and i hope she gets more meaningful roles. The writers have already set up her post graduation arc to explain her absence or limited role in s3 so lets see

Rocky ; He had some excellent potential with strong backstory which was revealed during the Laya arc but nothing was done with it which was sad. I wanted to see Radhi and Reena's reactions to his struggles and stop seeing him as a joker. I'm glad he didn't become the brooding guy who got rejected by main character and instead became one of the pillars of her life which was probably the reason why it hurt the most when Reena treated him like a punching bag in season2 like he is a human being with feelings reena come on! I didn't like the way he slightly bullied Kamal who was older than him but was still the junior intern that was uncool. I hated how everyone treated him like a joke in season 2 and I for one don't know what he sees in Charu to be in that toxic relationship i thought he broke up with her when they had that fight in ep 71 but the phone call in ep 81 was proof that they were still together and now Sindu (kiran's sister ) is also interested in him yikes i hope rocky stays away from both these toxic people (sindu is ok but her family is not). Episodes 93 and 96 of season 2 were the only episodes which stopped him from becoming a complete filler character...his outburst at Radhi maam's cabin and breakdown at Reena's bed was so heartbreaking , tho i got lowkey pissed off at him for calling radhi and arjun as monsters for keeping the truth from.reena but gave him.a pass cause it was his guilt of not picking up Reena's call at the right time....Arjun consoling rocky was such a powerful moment and it reminded the audience that Rocky and Sonia were the most important people in Reena's life and even Arjun acknowledges that , i loved that canteen scene also the scene in ep 32 where Rocky tells Arjun that Reena was the bigger person for looking past Arjun's blunder and still was in speaking terms with him even after what he did in season 1. I wish Rocky gets more importance in season 3

Charu ; Toxic. That's all. Idk how a pure hearted positive ray of sunshine like Ramanathan sir could have a daughter who is so.....urgh i don't even want to comment anything more

Cinema doctor ; I MISS HIS CHARACTER!!!!! HE WAS MUCH MORE TOLERABLE AND I LOOKED FORWARD FOR HIS SCENES THANK THE NEW INTERNS STUFF I HOPE HE IS IN SEASON 3 but even that looks doubtful cause Giri sir had an insta live recently and i had asked if he would be returning as C Doc in s3 and he gave a vague answer that he would return if he's called back plus he is busy with that new resort show 😭

I thought his character would have a cold war with Arjun but thank god that didn't happen , his love for cinema is super infectious and he is amazing.

Also I'm grateful thst vijay didn't assume the most obvious thing a third person would assume when rocky said that reena was the reason radhi and dev split (small.mercies) thk i hated the way he asked dev if radhi had an affair like shut up

Characters never saying the wrong thing which they can never take back (something which vijay never followed)

Rocky didn't say reena was a gold digger for dating arjun after realising he is rk's son

Dev didn't accuse radhi of hiding reena for nefarious reasons

Arjun didn't accuse reena of distracting him from his goals and it was a conspiracy of her and Radhi maam after realising reena is her daughter

Grey's anatomy parallels

Rocky and Reena were George and Meredith this i only realised after finishing 200 episodes of HB.....thnk god they didn't take the george mer route (those who know I'm sorry for reminding you of it and those who dont please don't google it )

Reena is Maggie and Mer parallel not just met due to adoption storyline again thank god she wasn't jo's parallel (please don't google)

Kamal and Kiran's entry scene Kiran entered with a wound and kamal.was confused for senior doctor both of which happened to Deluca in greys

Ravi being married - direct nod to Derek being secretly married

People.who hate Radhi watch Grey's, 3 seasons of Ellis and Thatcher Grey would.make you guys appreciate Radhi

Also thank god they didn't make Arjun into Derek, that fellow was another problematic character

An ep or an arc dedicated to Divi and Sid's trauma upon seeing their dad behaving so violently after learning Reena's truth , any child would be scared seeimg their parent behave that way , they might not have expressed it at that point cause they had bigger things to worry about like their parents getting seperated but an arc where Dev regains their trust would be nice

I don't want to see Vijay subtly putting down or taunting Radhi.....a big NO to Vijay's glorification

A seperate ep for Radhi and Reena's birthday

No love triangle drama (Rocky - Charu - Sindu) i hope the writers forget about Sindu like they did with Guna's sister

Seperate arcs focusing on the CAREERS of Kamal , Nilofer , Amaya and Kiran 

Reena realising Arjun's pov on her own instead of slowburn drama and forgiving him sooner or an episode where Dev , Vijay , Radhi , Rocky and the kids try to reunite Arjun and Reena like how Reena teamed up with them to reunite Dev and Radhi in season 2

Funny moments between Reena , Radhi and grandpa even when they are supposed to be fighting like pls make it lighthearted we have had enough of melodrama

DEV sir taking care of reena during recovery and showing Reena's childhood pic and explaining Radhi's pov , I've mentioned that i don't want vijay to be jailed for long but if it means that I'll get dev reena scenes then i don't mind cause ik writers wont concentrate on this dynamic.after vijay is out , dev and reena scenes have that softness which even V-R scenes lack

Arjun should become a doc , he never wanted to become a ceo it was forced on him.this legacy bs is old excuse Intern arjun with senior resident reena would be awesome please let him go back complete his degree and come back as a doc (if they are planning for 2 year time leap)

AND PLEASE PLEASE NO MEMORY LOSS DRAMA OR TWIN SISTER / DOPPLEGANGER OF REENA , JUST NO!

AND FINALLY ATLEAST 4 EPISODES FOR ARENA WEDDING , IF THEY CAN GIVE 3 EPISODES FOR RAVI BARATHI WEDDING THEY CAN GIVE US ATLEAST 4 EPISODES FOR ARJUN AND REENA'S WEDDING

Medical inaccuracies

Reena's accident; lack of basic oxygen mask in the ambulance , common people placing her in strecher instead of wardboys paramedics , no c spine stabilisation (neck brace advanced version)

12 people in ICU the collective infection risk of people holing her hands and pecking her cheek would be enough to end someone irl😭

Also when reena came to the hospital in that state everyone were just wiping blood with cotton there was no urgency there , compare this with the first medical case the interns did in season 1 ep 1 , there was more emergency in that scene than here

i hope atleast 25% of my wishlist comes true otherwise i have gpt or gemini to generate my own ending

I started and finished watching the show last December so I might have forgotten or there is a chance I might misremember some stuff. Also sorry for the typos and grammatical errors you're about to come across , I can never avoid those even when I'm being 100% careful

So initially i thought of listing all the storylines and posting my two cents on it but that would take forever so I'm going to give my two cents on all characters and their involvemnt in important storylines

Long post ahead idk how many of you are going to finish it but i just need to get this off of my chest so if you do end up reading the entire post upvote if you like it and post your veiws as well

Underrated gems

Sonia ; I wish she had gotten more importance in the show. She is the first person in Reena's life who made Reena feel less alone and helped her track down Radhi. Massive respect. I love her no nonsense attitude and her ability to pick a war with anyone who hurts Reena even the slightest. The way she picked a fight with Divi for the swimming pool and slap incident and with Dev for calling Reena a bad influence on Sid and Divi was anazing. But i feel like writers reduced her to be this filler character in the show.....She is one of the characters who can move mountains for Reena and she is in Kolkatta....I'm not expecting her character to be a doc as well to be there with Reena that would have been unrealistic and farfetched but she could've been an administrative person or something , a confidant that Reena can physically reach out to instead of phone calls. It does feel like her character was downplayed a bit. I cried when she said "ella porattamum ungallukaagathan" to Radhi when Reena was unconsious....also she is the only person bold enough to pass flirty comment to Radhi (nerula neenga paakathuku super figure ah irrukenga) 🤣🤣🤣

One of the best things i loved in Reena's surgery ep was Dev and Sonia looking at each other at the waiting room with a silent understanding passing between them and Sonia realising that Dev sir had completely accepted Reena and Dev sir noticing Sonia....I had lots of problems with season 2 but this scene was a litteral gem. I loved how she concocted disastrous plans with Rocky to reuinite Arjun Reena in season 1 as well and the sheer will to storm the CEO's office to threaten him

Ganesh uncle and Saradha aunty ; They are a package deal , i can't write about them induvidually. The first two people to accept Reena as their own. Them defending for reena after the swimming pool scene was peak cause i was afraid initially that Saradha aunty might evict reena from the house for the house party mishap of ep 16🤣

Whichis why it DOES NOT MAKE ANY FREAKING SENSE TO KILL OFF SARADHA AUNTY LIKE WHAAAAT???? Why??? She was the much needed pillar in Reena's life and they did this :( the actress who played Saradha Aunty revealed in an interveiw that she would be present in S3 (flashback scene maybe) let's see

Ganesh uncle is another pookie there is simply no other term to describe him. From fighting for Reena after the swimming pool thingy to defending her after the truth bomb drops he is just amazing. I loved his mischevious streak as well ; throwing stone at Dev's house in a drunken stupor , asking if Reena would call Dev as dad / father / naina after the truth would be out , "nee ponnu illa ponnu maathiri , ithu unnoda veedu mathiri romba sontham kondaduraye" , making fun of her scooty , follwing her and arjun in temple reacting to reena calling him "yov!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Aana oru vishiyam gubeer nu aaiduchu enakku , he literally told an unconsious Reena that he managed to get himself out of grief after Saradha died (his wife of 25+ years) but the house feels empty without Reena....sir you consider Reena as your daughter which is amazing but i felt like this line was a bit too much it lowkey felt like he was disrespecting Saradha Aunty’s memory.

Also i have a feeling that ganesh uncle was the one who called Thyagarajan Thatha at the end of season 1 more about that in this thread :

Also i read an old comment here which mentioned how reena only moved her fingers in that unconsious state for Ganesh uncle alone and nobody else (thankfully not for vijay) thank you writers for the small mercies

I wish Krishna sir used his own voice to dub in season 1 , he is a well known actor hearing him speak in someone else's voice was jarring thank god he used his own voice to dub in season 2

Kumar anna ; This man is a legend....each character bond in this show is tainted in some way or the other due to accusations , misunderstandings or treating others like a punching bag but this man comes as a breath of fresh air admist all the chaos....the loyal caretaker of Arjun , he had no obligation of staying back after RK passed away but still stayed and did his job and considered Arjun as family.....he deserves his own appreciation thread

RK ; The man who knew everything except how to win back his son's affection. The beloved king who was waiting for his son to understand why his wife died instead of telling him directly , what's ironic is he asked radhi to not waste time and reveal that she cares for Reena but he wasted all the years being silent. Also the backstory of Arjun's alcoholism and how Rk's wife died was way too melodramatic like she hurt herself and called her husband who was in surgery so she didn't say anything like really? She could have called an ambulance they could have stabilized her in some other hospital and she could have been transferred to RKH. It was heartbreaking see him refuse treatment for his tumor cause he had no one to live for and Arjun was just waiting him out until he realised the truth....when i started watching the show i thought he was one of those toxic dads who is over glorified and they would gaslight arjun into apologising to him for beinf right but it was refreshing to see RK did nothing wrong and dude was a complete pookie. Though i do wonder how he missed the fact that radhi became insecure when he announced that arjun would be the next ceo and she was undermining arjun infront of everyone to show who's the boss , that scene where radhi makes arjun do squats infront of everyone while rk passes by in wheelchair ; i honestly thought they are setting up for RK vs Radhi but that never happened and he assumed radhi was being a great mentor to him like bruh. I loved his dynamic with reena (though i was creeped out when he saw reena for the first time and held her hand with that expression , imagine a hospital founder doing that to an intern what if his assumption was wrong and reena was a random stranger and not Radhi's daughter?l and i know that killing off his character was essential to get the plot moving with arjun wanting to be ceo and internal conflict with radhi and external conflict with madan and none of ir would have been possible had he lived but i wish he did. Deepa revealed in an interveiw that she used to greet RK as "hi maamanare" when they met on the set everyday and hearing that made me yearn for such a scene in the show which is sadly not possible

MNM ; Ik most of you who managed to reach till here would wonder why i included him but had he not gone to RK's clinic with the stab wound and gotten saved by RK and donated his land there is no story. Plus had MNM lived he wouldn't have let madan run the buisness run to the ground and would have stopped manasa and madan from their nefarious activities. Plus the actor voiced for Krishna in vijay tv mahabarat and he has been my fav ever since 🤣

TR (Thyagarajan Thatha) ; Ok he is THE LEGEND in his own right. Usually these kinds of shows makes the older gen characters be unreasonable and boomers but I found myself supporting this man's desicion with every passing episode.....his daughter becomes pregnant at 14 he's a single father and she can't abort and the guy's parents fool him into thinking they would help take care of the child and flee and what exactly was he supposed to do? Wait for them? He was looking out for his daughter by giving reena to orphanage plus it was the year 2000 and it was a small town (this would have been the talk of the town had this happened in the city as well) when vijay returned a couple of years later he lied the child died which was right cause if he gave Reena to a 16 year old.immature idiot how was that spineless idiot supposed to take care of the child? They would have died of poverty had vijay succeeded in eloping with radhi without completing her education it was a fukked up situation and Vijay's a hole parents bolted not caring about his daughter so why should her father care for their son Vijay's mental stability? Screw that

I do wish he had told the entire truth to reena , told the name of her father honestly how is it possible that he narrated a 2 episode flashback without revealing Vijay , Vikran or Thilakan's name? I need this superpower as well 🤣 it was pathetic of vijay to treat him as a villan but more on that on Vijay's section.....i don't have a problem with what TR did in the past but what he did in the present with not trusting or treating reena and radhi as adults and hiding the truth was wrong he should have revealed it so that vijay didn't have any moral high ground over him (he still doesn't)

The Villians ;

Vikran ; let's be real here if not for vikram or his cycle reena wouldn't exist , had only vikram reacted to radhi and vijay destroying his cycle Tilak would have never suggested Radhi and Vijay to fake date and Radhi to confess her liking for vijay.....but this vikram guy is a greenflag he liked her , didn't care when she destroyed his cycle , helped Tilak after growing up , dude should have been the father of Reena (I'm saying this unironically for about 70% rest of 30% I'm just having fun)

Tilak : the way he instigates vijay against TR is pathetic like call out Vijay's parents if you have the guts

Vijay's parents ; i won't call them wrong cause they did what was best for their son like what TR thought was best for his daughter what was unfortunate was Reena had to pay for that with her blood and tears I'm categorizing them as villians cause they were whitewashed and TR was made into a villian for reacting to what these two did

Sid ; Cute kiddo , but unbeleivably mischeiviohs and got reena into so much trouble without meaning to , where did he vanish after Radhi's panic attack ep? He wasn't even there in official radhi and dev patch up episode which was weird.I wish he is shown in s3

Divi ; she was nice in s1 but like reena said in the uno ep she has the "utchakatta attitude" in s2.....divi and sid were the reason dev started resenting reena and the truth broke him.and she was mad at reena for existing like bruh....i was happy when she finally mellowed down and when reena slapped that teacher who hit Divi

Radhi ; ONE OF THE MOST STRONGEST WRITTEN GUTSY FEMALE CHARACTER I'VE SEEN IN A LONG TIME....WE STAN QUEEN RADHI

She has her flaws as well not gonna sugarcoat , her past made her scarred so much that she can't even express her love naturally to Divi and Sid forget about Reena for a moment , she didn't sign her name in the drawing Sid made for her she just wrote i love you and never told him , she slapped Divi
who was acting out cause she wasn't there for them (which is why it was annoying in season 2 when divi disrespected Radhi.multiple times for letting Dev walk away) writers gave her a mountain of obstacles to reveal the truth my god , season 1 radhi would have shut vijay up saying "our child never died , you don't get to play i didn't move on but you did.card , you were grieveing for our child? Vijay we went to the doctor for abortion and only told the truth to our parents after abortion was ruled out because of my feeble health plus where were you for 25 years? You should have verified the truth from me?" Instead the writers wanted max sympathy for the simpimg idiot vijay who never moved on like get out of here. Radhi in season 1 asked Reena to not interfere in her life yet she contributed nothing to her world and took Dev's care for granted which she only realised in season 2 when he wasn't there , she should have revealed the truth but I'm sure she was scared dev would walk.away from.her that's why she didn't reveal. Her love for hee children only gets expressed when her children's life is in danger (Divi almost drowning in swimming pool , Sid's panic attack , Reena's accident) Radhi ma'am's characterisation is the perfect juxtaposition of amazing professional life and messed up personal.life.....she wanted to reveal the truthnbut was comfortable with having reena with her and was scared that reena would walk.away from.her. my heart breaks to think that she didn't realise that reena would never leave her in a million years and all.she wanted was an identitty (ik I've already given yhe disclaimer but I'm tearing up writing this so excuse the typos) wish she had told her and she was about to when Dev returned , to dev vijay was a good friend and he walked out cause she hid that reena was her daughter so she assumed if she told dev that his "friend" was her ex he would walk away again , she wanted to tell during the anniversary but was stopped again , she wanted to tell in Vijay's house but he was called to the station and that idiot became self righteous prick....WRITERS I HATE YOU FOR RUINING A BEAUTIFUL CHARACTER OF 150 EPSIDOES FOR YOUR FEMALE EYECANDY VIJAY BECAUSE OF WHOM THE RATINGS BLEW UP AAAARRGH. Seriously i wish radhi expressed her care for reena outwardly during prawn briyani ep by saying she made it for her bur instead said she cooked too.much and she sent over the extra food to her house and vijay repeating that he didn't make extra and he made it for her.....like ivlo chinna visiyathula kuda ivanuku competition vendi kedakuthu.....Thank god vijay didn't show up in the playground only Dev is the right person for Radhi

I wish Radhi had been caring to reena in private but stern in public but then the show would have ended and the conflicts wouldn't hold water cause we know she would apologise in private

I enjoyed Radhi's cold war with Arjun in season 1 that was amazing also radhi was so complex that she didn't express her love for reena but she expressed her concern by asking reena to stay away from arjun and using her right as a mother to slap reena for the swimming pool debacle

What's horrible is in s2 they gave only a 2 min scene to explain Radhi's pov but had an entire ep to whitewash Vijay's parents...enakku nalla vakkanaiya vaai la varuthu , kocha kochaiya pesanum nu kovamum varuthu aana control pannikiren

Dev : GREENFOREST women want a husband like him.but men like us want a friend and a guide like him.and Radhi maam in our professional and personal life (atleast i do)

He isn't without flaws either , he was in the right to question sid and divi's closeness with reena and radhi turning a blind eye infuriated him.....he was already frustrated with radhi not giving time to their kids even before reena entered their lives his anger wasnt sudden , he needed a powerful reason for a outburst and unfortunately reena was caught in the crossfire. He wouldn't let sid get into football team cause his studies were getting affected so the kids used reena to achieve that and same with the swimming pool incident where divi took reena cause dev didn't take her and almost drowned.

But dev did a few mistakes as well ;

1. calling radhi a bad mother that was hurtful but it was obvious that he was hurting when he said that
2. Calling reena a bad influence on his kids instead of disciplining his children
3. Insinuiating that Reena was a thief and she might steal Ganesh uncle.and Saradha aunty....this was a low blow bro especially after reena stayed in your house for 3 days and nothing got stolen , you couldn't take out your anger on radhi at that time and chose reena as a soft target buddy come on
4. PROBABLY THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF ALL : FORCEFULLY DRAGGING RADHI ACROSS THE STAIRCASE TO GANESH UNCLE'S HOUSE TO CONFRONT REENA AFTER LEARNING THE TRUTH....My heart broke to a million peices , he could've just said "I'm going to Ganesh's house to confront reena with or without you" and could've walked there with radhi behind him why the violence? Seeing him stoop that low in anger was sad i hope in season 3 he apologises to radhi reena sid and divi those kids saw that too 😭😭😭😭😭
5. Him wanting a divorce , like listen to your wife for 15 years and understand why she hid that maybe she didn't want to wreck her present like come on man!!!!!

Despite all this he doesn't hate reena after the reveal , in season 2 ep 13 reena apologises for wrecking chaos in their lives (basically apologising fot existing which was dark) and dev says he's nobody to forgive her and she wasn't wrong........AND HE DOES NOT BLOW A FUSE LEARNING ABOUT VIJAY HE PEICED IT TOGETHER BY HIMSELF BRO NEEDS TO BE THE ACTUAL MEDICAL INVESTIGATION OFFICER.....he is understanding towards radhi and comes back to her which i wished he had done during Reena's reveal but DEV SIR LEARNS FROM HIS MISTAKES AND THAT MAKES HIM A BETTER HUMAN BEING PEOPLE

I loved how Arjun seeked redemption with RK

His relationship with reena was amazing

Although his anger for reena hiding she is Radhi's daughter was stupid i feel like he wouldn't have cared if reena didn't defend radhi every damn time , like reena defended arjun to radhi but didn't even say that she did nor she once said "i agree arjun i can't beleive radhi maam is doing this" like.bro wanted to hear that once ; her support plus and having said that his anger is unjustified cause Arjun being RK's son is not a scandal but Reena being Radhi's daughter is one. I hated how he called her "poiyanava" and stuff and never really apologised but he knew he messed up the moment he revealed the truth in ceo election cause radhi kept calling him an alcoholic....plus arjun does and says stupid things in anger so it didn't look out of characrer as well....the ultimate kicker was when arjun apologised to radhi and said he only said what he said cause she kept him calling him an alcoholic and radhi says well it's the truth isn't it? Well.arjun didn't lie either reena is her daughter tho he had no right to reveal that and the slap he got was justified.

Bro in s2 was something else he turned a new leaf , didn't fall for Manasa's BS (yet couldn't perform a background check on Naveen and Manasa) his arc in s2 was not just about mending his relationship with reena but mending his professional bonding with radhi as well that's why he didn't reveal the truth.....when he was about to reveal it reena stopped him thinking he was going to propose which was stupid and arjun was right it was not his secret to reveal....i wish reena realises this by herself in season 3 instead of anyone having to tell her this

Reena in season 1 did only one grave mistake , she wanted to bond with sid and divi so she did the football team and swimming pool favor without the parents permission; that was wrong like in Dev's eyes reena was a stranger at that point how can she just take divi to swimming pool without informing? That slap was justified imo but i ddi feel bad for her

S2 reena became a whole different person , in the quest of making reena 2.0 diff they made her rude , she was rude with radhi , arjun , vijay , anita for no freaking reasons (professionaly) i was also happy that they didn't do the instant connection crap when vijay and reena met and they spent 30.epispdes hating each other also i got both radhi and reena's pov after reena got suspended due to drink spiking thingy

I wish she had ran into thilakan and learnt that v and r were classmates and peiced it together by herself i wrote some headcanons about it read if interested

I see comments saying Vijay is another name for selflessness because he reunited radhi and dev , in which parallel universe did this happen? I would have agreed he is selfless had he had a family like Radhi and still chose to actively be a part of Reena's life instead of entering into a trauma measuring contest with his ex and claiming that he suffered more than her , no she suffered more thanks to your parents.
