Was in the middle of a power cut and wrote a cover letter by hand with a candle on the desk. Typed it up the next day and ran it through a detector out of habit. Flagged at 64% ai. Literally candlelit handwritten work, flagged. These tools are beyond parody at this point.

Was doing a timed in class writing exam when the proctor flagged my work mid session using a detection tool. Had to stop and explain myself in real time. The whole thing was humiliating and the proctor didn't even know how the tool worked.

Tested the same 300 word paragraph across five tools and got scores from 8% to 88%. How is anyone supposed to make sense of this. Feels like the tools are just guessing at this point.
