Our mallard duckling is 2 days old. It keeps spitting up thick saliva and continuously trying to swallow (almost like it has food stuck). When we take it out of the brooder (away from food and water) and massage its neck/crop it seems to be fine for a while until food and water are reintroduced. Breathing seems normal and steady, no rattling or coughing. The duckling is active and seems healthy otherwise
