He gets a good morning walk, then I have to keep him on the lead (close by) most of the time depending on where I’m working, spend my lunch break walking him, back on the lead, then he gets to romp at a few good spots I know of after work. My boy took a minute getting comfortable with the lead. He’s currently directly in my way.
Hey there, I’m looking for opinions, experience, and advice on the use of e collars for training purposes. My boy Tuck just hit 16 weeks and I work with him throughout the day trying to get a good baseline with him and he is making really good progress. I’ve been searching and talking with trainers in my area and met with one yesterday I really like that I think I am going to go with. He did not suggest right off the bat that I use one but actually asked how I felt about, I just admitted that I was unsure of it. He then mentioned that they get a bad wrap because people make the assumption sometimes that your just shocking your dog into submission, he went on to explain how game changing they good be with proper and skilled use.
