Hi everyone,
I'm posting this because I need some perspective to show my sister. She has been doing art commissions for about 2-3 years now, and I honestly think her work is great. However, she keeps charging extremely low prices.
For example, she recently charged:
$8 USD for the dragon.
$12 USD for the couple.
To me, this feels like she's practically giving her work away, especially considering her experience level. I've tried telling her that she's undercharging, but she doesn't seem to realize how much her time and skill are actually worth.
Am I crazy for telling her this? How can I help her understand that she should be charging more? I'd love to hear from other artists about what to do
Thanks in advance!
